Manhattanhenge

Twice every year, the setting sun lights up with the east-west grid of manhattan.  It's called Manhattanhenge.  Read about it in a trusty source, here.

Last night I went out and captured a few photos of this occurrence.  I wouldn't say I did the best photography job because with the sun shining it was hard to tell on my camera.  Plus I had to stand in the middle of the street without getting hit to get the shots.  It was a beautiful site despite what the photos show.
