royal wedding

I have to admit, like most of my peers (25 year old females), I absolutely love a good wedding story complete with pictures and details.  It's just one of those things that starts to creep its way into your life.  In the last two or three months I have needed at least two hands to count the number of coworkers and friends who have gotten engaged.  It doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.  Working on a unit full of young nurses, there's always someone looking at wedding dresses, engagement rings, engagement's endless what goes on during the lulls of nightshift.

But I digress,  I wanted to touch on the absolute madness that is the royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton.  Of course I've DVRed the wedding, of course I plan on watching as much of the gossip as I can, and I'm definitely excited to see what Kate wears.  Will I wake up at 4am on Friday morning to watch a wedding taking place in London?  fuck no.

Would I ever purchase tea bags with kate and william on them?  nope.  (although they would be a hilarious gift to any tea drinker....)
maybe one day I will be made into a tea bag.  one can only aspire to be like princess kate.

It's a little obnoxious the amount of media that surrounds this wedding.  Lucky for those of you who are disgusted by weddings, there's a site that blocks you from wedding news and a barf bag in case some slips through the cracks.

If you want in on the news?  There are very many sites out there.

If you want something to remember the wedding, here are some favors for the masses:

I think the condoms and pez dispensers are my favorite.

Don't forget:
