wish list

Do you make a wish list when the holidays come around?  In years past I have emailed out wish lists with links to everything I want for the holidays/birthdays/etc.  My family loved it because they felt like they were actually getting me something I wanted and would use.

I'm a fan of returning anything that has been purchased as a gift but is not too personal.  Of course I would never return jewelry or an item picked out for real reasons or meaningful gifts.  I would, however, will return clothes, houseware items, and anything of that sort.  I mean does someone really want to spend money on a gift that I will just throw away or regift?  I certainly encourage others to exchange the gifts I give them.

I find at all times I have a wish list in the back of my head of those things that I currently need want.  I'm trying to save money (unsuccessfully) and the list keeps growing. A couple of things that would be on my dream list....

a new coffee table

I saw this ring from Sundance on theneotraditionalist and literally gasped out loud.  can you say amazing?!?!  The only thing that could make it better would be a big fat cushion cut diamond in the center.

I'm definitely trending more towards gold jewelry recently.  I love Blue Tree NYC's "the Moon" necklace.  You can also add to it

I've been looking for some nude pumps and am thinking one of these might work

  (charles david, j.crew, kate spade)
although the J.Crew ones would be awesome in gray..

I think I might be able to rock a sequined skirt.  I certainly would like to try.

(gap, j.crew)

Lucite Louis Ghost Chairs.  Can you imagine these with an antique dining room table or a farmhouse style country table?  ahhhmmazing.

additionally:
a chandelier
some new leggings
dresses (of all sorts)
a new camera
art for my gallery wall
gray jeans

  1. I am a big fan-o-your lists! Especially the ones with the direct links to the right colour and size!
