fall is in the air

The temperature is starting to break in the DC area the past few weeks, although we had a scorcher on saturday which was perfect for Georgetown's homecoming.  It's gross and rainy today but I'm excited for the leaves to turn.  I made a trip to acmoore this past weekend to pick up some supplies for Boyfriend and his friends' rowing uniforms.  While there, I got a few decorations to help bring my condo into autumn.

First I grabbed some pinecones, fall colored fake flowers and reeds to fill the large vase next to my desk:

I added a few reeds (or whatever they are) to my cork collection which is sitting on my  console table

I also made this wreath.  I'll probably switch it out for a new one soon, but for now it works.

You can definitely feel autumn in the air these days.    Although I'm mostly excited about mulled wine, slippers, being able to wear sweaters and sweatshirts again, football games, and getting a Christmas tree in the next three months!
