Gram Buggs

Today is the second anniversary of my grandfather's death.  We called him GramBuggs.  Some of the family went to mass at our parish then out for breakfast this morning.  It was nice to do a little something on a day that changed our lives.

My grandfather was a courageous and kind man, naval officer, lawyer, sailor, car aficionado, father of six and grandfather to 20.  He was of the era when men stood by their wives, worked hard but had consciences and stood for their beliefs (unlike the backstabbing bankers of today, but that's another story).  All-in-all an amazing man.

I'm really posting today to share with you a song that I love which reminds me of GramBuggs every time I hear it.  It really embodies the spirit of a true American gentleman.
